Description

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH is providing base maintenance of Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Ryanair, Europe’s biggest airline. Our highly trained and dedicated engineers, technicians, and mechanics are the driving force behind our industry-leading safety record. Across our PAM and Ryanair network, our skilled team conducts extensive checks on individual aircraft systems, structures, composites, and components to ensure that all Ryanair aircraft continue to operate with the utmost efficiency and take the customers to their destinations on time. A new exciting opportunity has arisen within Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH. We are looking to hire a Quality Engineer in our hangar at Hahn, Germany.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Active participating in daily activities of the Hahn Quality Department
Ensuring that policies, procedures and processes are aligned with regulatory and customer requirements
Conducting reviews, gap analysis, creating and implementing corrective action plans
Working with all value streams within the business to support change
Supporting for the analysis of reported occurrences
Continually assessing regulatory requirements to ensure as a minimum compliance is maintained
Support, conduct and facilitate internal and external audits
Support various quality related activities
Supporting the Safety Management System

Requirements

Degree in Engineering / EASA Part 66 License / Aircraft Mechanic Qualification
Good knowledge of English (written and oral) / German would be an advantage
Knowledge of EASA & UK regulations relating to Aircraft maintenance, operation, licensing & certification is preferable
Experience of working in Aircraft Maintenance Organisations
Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Organisation quality-related processes and procedures
Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement tools/techniques
The ability to adapt to change quickly with a can-do attitude
Ability to plan and work to deadlines and on own initiative
Excellent Interpersonal and intercultural skills
MS Office suite experience
A valid EU/EEA passport or the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union
Preferably a valid German security clearance according to the German Aviation Security Act
