Cost Engineer (m/f/diverse)

We advise sales colleagues on acquisition projects and key account managers on contracts. To do this, we forecast costs based on technical parameters and identify potential for improvement with product management. We do all of this with enthusiasm! We are aviationeers. What about you? TASKS: As a cost engineer you will take on the following tasks:

Analyze engine component conditions (removal, repair and scrap rates), repair costs and material availability, taking into account the operation parameters and the engine condition, and use the results to forecast and optimize contract calculations
Identify opportunities, risks and optimization potential with regard to repair and material costs across contracts
Further develop business intelligence (methods, tools and processes) for analyzing technical and commercial data with the interface partners in order to prepare well-founded business decisions
Advise sales, key account managers and other engineering roles

Completed studies in engineering or industrial engineering – career starters are warmly welcome!
Passion for numbers and analysis
High affinity for IT solutions
Knowledge of engines and engine overhaul
Business fluent English skills
Willingness to undertake occasional business trips at home and abroad
