Designed by Bruno Grimmek, the Palais am Funkturm was built in 1956/57, and was one of the best-looking most modern venues hosting events and guests in Germany. Featuring an unusual room layout and the charm of the Fifties, this listed building, the “Palais am Funkturm”, is a unique venue for balls, banquets and receptions, congress events and lectures.

About Berlin Messe

Berlin Messe has plenty of room and short distances: 180,000 m² of exhibition space in 26 halls and the multifunctional CityCube Berlin. It is located close to the city centre, the Exhibition Grounds lie right next to the city motorway that links them with Berlin’s international airports. Parking for 12,000 vehicles on and around the Exhibition Grounds. There are taxi ranks, U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations and bus stops at the entrances. With a retractable staircase, partitions and a chandelier adjustable for height, Berlin’s largest ballroom offers outstanding flexibility when it comes to organizing available space. Pilot Expo in Berlin Messe

Exhibition and interviews will take place in Berlin Messe halls 13, 14.1, 15.1 and 16 (East Entrance).

Conferences will take place in Berlin Messe Conference Halls 14.2 and 15.2 (East Entrance).

Airliners Party will be happening in the very beautiful Messe “Palais am Fukturn” guest venue (North Entrance).

The dates and time of the exhibition and conferences: February 22-23, 2019 from 10:00-18:00.

How to get there

There are 4 ways to get from Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) to Messe Berlin by bus, train, taxi or foot. There is no direct connection from Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) to Messe Berlin. However, you can take the bus to S+U Jungfernheide Bhf, take the train to S Messe Nord/ICC, then take the walk to Messe Berlin. Alternatively, you can take a vehicle from Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) to Messe Berlin via S Charlottenburg/Gervinusstr., S Charlottenburg Bhf, and S Westkreuz in around 27 min.

There are 4 ways to get from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport (SXF) to Berlin Messe by bus, train, taxi or car. You can take a train from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport (SXF) to Berlin Messe Nord/ICC (Witzleben) via Berlin Ostkreuz and S Ostkreuz Bhf in around 44 min.
