Description

As part of the treatment of production non-conformities, the Elixir program being still in its early stages, each justification of non-conformity linked to production requires validation via a Modification of the Definition (MOD) by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
Each justification to be provided in these MODs interweaves various areas of activity depending on the level of complexity, with the aim of demonstrating the conformity of the part:
Qualification tests on specimens
Tests on representative part
Evaluation of the impact via analytical calculations or finite elements
Composite repair (scarfing or counterplate type)
Assembly part design adaptation
As a Production Support Engineer M/F, you will be responsible for carrying out, in collaboration with all Engineering services (Calculations, Aerodynamics, Methods, Quality, Production, Airworthiness, etc.), the subjects that will be assigned to you. entrusted to:
Establishing a justification plan associated with each non-conformity
Planning the activities identified to meet the Justification plan
Respect release deadlines in order to support the production rate
Writing supporting documents
Write repair plans and ensure their smooth running
Write repair tracking reports

Experience :
Experience in a Method Office or study of composite parts
Experience in composite draping (prepreg and wet lay)
Concepts in composite repairs
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for organic matrix composites
Knowledge of material qualification (chemistry of thermosetting polymers / mechanical testing)
CAD software skills
Knowledge of project management
Profile sought : Final year student in Engineering School / Master in aeronautics or composites
