Description

Job Description:

Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with marketing and sales, flight test, mechanical systems and powerplant, and program management to define software requirements

Create and revise specifications, drawings, software requirements documents, test plans (bench, ground, and flight)

Perform bench testing, loading of bench and aircraft software, and other tasks as necessary to support the Avionics/Electrical Engineering group with the guidance of the Engineering Manager Lead and Team.

Create and revise certification documents

Requirements

Additional requirements specific to this position:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering

0-5 years experience with Avionics. Prior Garmin experience preferred.

Candidate to be proficient with Microsoft Windows file operations and Microsoft office, have a working level for data entry into existing spreadsheets, Familiarity 2D CAD and Schematic Design, Mentor Graphics Capital Harness and Siemens NX preferred, and physically able to move in and out of the office/plant without restrictions
