Description

Elixir Aircraft, an innovative aeronautical company, is offering an internship in its airworthiness department in La Rochelle. The airworthiness department is responsible for certification activities (TC, MOD), continued airworthiness (handling occurrences, incidents, accidents), as well as foreign validation (FAA, CAA UK). It acts to guarantee compliance with regulations Part21, CS23, etc., and thus ensure flight safety.
We are looking for an intern to support the team in the context of growing activity.

Requirements

Required profile :
Student in final year of engineering school, university or equivalent, with knowledge of aeronautics and an appetite for project management.
Familiarity with aeronautical regulations (Part21, CS23 or other CS25/27/29 concepts).
Ability to analyze regulatory documents, synthesize complex information and draft certification documents with rigor.
Good level of English (reading and interpretation of PART 21, CS23, 14CFR23, etc.)
Required profile
EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency): Management of minor and/or major modifications, certification approach, monitoring of actions and maintenance of planning, interactions with authorities and production of deliverables until EASA approval. Progress reporting.
FAA Validation (Federal Aviation Agency – USA): FAA validation project management, evaluation of bilateral EASA-FAA agreements and summary of TIPs (Technical Implementation Procedures). Identification of impacts and coordination with the BE of actions and means of compliance.
Archiving, regulatory monitoring, development of “newcomer” presentations
Knowing how to be, knowing how to do:
Motivated, dynamic, curious, sense of priorities, overview and ability to synthesize.
Listen, analyze and understand subtleties, write documents with rigor and critical thinking. Adapt your speech to the interlocutor.
