Tobias Hinsch is a First Officer for the A320-Family at Lufthansa, based in Frankfurt. He holds a B.Eng. in Aviation Systems Engineering and Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, where he also trained as a commercial pilot with Lufthansa Flight Training. He began his aviation career with Germanwings in 2013 and joined Lufthansa in 2017.
Tobias is deeply committed to supporting his peers and the broader pilot community. He is actively involved in peer support and mental well-being initiatives through Stiftung Mayday and through his volunteer work with Vereinigung Cockpit (German Airline Pilots Association), founding member of the European Cockpit Association, focusing on human factors, mental health, and diversity.
Currently, Tobias is furthering his education with part-time studies in Psychology at Euro FH in Hamburg.
