Jakub previously served as the CEO of the Polish branch of Starcom MediaVest Group, a leading international media agency. While he initially began flying for recreation, his passion for aviation led him to pivot from his corporate career to become a professional pilot. Over the last 15 years, he has operated both business jets and airliners, including the Airbus A320, and currently serves as a Boeing 737 MAX/NG Captain at LOT Polish Airlines.
In addition to his flight experience, Jakub was the CEO of business jet operator Jet Story for nine years and co-founded Bartolini Air’s jet charter division, which now operates four light jets. He also serves as an instructor for Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) courses on the Boeing 737 simulator at Bartolini Air.
