GP Aviation was founded in 2016 by Capt. Ganesh Piga in Zürich, Switzerland, as an aircraft ferry and test flight company. In 2019, it successfully commenced operations as a commercial airline under a Bulgarian AOC, with its main hub in Prishtina, Kosovo. The airline currently operates three B737-400 aircraft and leases additional Airbus aircraft, carrying more than 800,000 passengers per year to various European destinations.
