Created in 2006 at Cognac air base, Airbus Flight Academy Europe provides training facilities and services to the Air Force and Navy flight schools for the basic and advanced training of military pilots at the bases of : Avord, Cognac, Lann-Bihoué, Lanvéoc and Salon de Provence, Saintes and Romorantin.

In 2019, the company decided to deploy its own ab-initio pilot training capability at Champniers. Airbus Flight Academy Europe offers an integrated Airline Transport Pilot training based on the Airbus Pilot Cadet Training Programme.

Since its creation, Airbus Flight Academy Europe has delivered over 525 000 flight hours and 131 000 simulator hours. To support its activities, the company maintains more than 100 aircraft on a daily basis.

Job description
To carry out instructional flights for the benefit of the various trainees of the ATO and/or the company.
To design and deliver training for the benefit of Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and/or company pilot trainees, in accordance with the procedures and regulations in force.
To carry out ferry flight to the operations office.

Tasks and missions
 Prepare, carry out and follow the various instructional flights required by the ATO and/or the Company ;
 Provide flight training on the aircraft and on the simulator ;
 Supervise the trainees throughout their training ;
 Develop a teaching method according to the audience ;
 Designing training materials.

Requirements

At least : Commercial Pilot License (CPL+IR), Flight Instructor (FI) with no restriction
IRI and/or CRI qualifications would be appreciated
Experience in teaching
English fluent : FCL 055 Level 5 expected and/or TOEIC 800 at least. All instruction is in English.
French fluent : FCL 055 Level 4 expected. Good level in French is required to understand in-flight information that may be given in French by local pilots or control towers.
